January is now in the books. Here at the Clean Eating Challenge, Team M&M (Coaches Mattie & Megan) encouraged our group to introduce one new healthy habit each week. I benefitted from the, being intentional, aspect of the team challenge. A focus on water consumption, using my stand-up-desk during on-line meetings, and daily stretching routines were great add-ins to the clean eating program.
On the exercise side of the equation, January clocked in at 14 virtual rides on Zwift with the bike and smart trainer combo. ( 14 rides = 208 miles = 14.5 hours of indoor cycling during January = a lot of sweat droplets )
Now on to February and adding pool time into the training regiment. 8 months of training remain before Ironman 70.3 @ Wilmington NC.
