So, my first month definitely had its ups and downs. I’ve been slowing incorporating more fruits and veggies in my diet, but I’ve found it hard to stay on track Friday through Sundays. I can tell the difference when I stick to a balanced diet and schedule as my body talks to me Sunday and Mondays! I also have been sporadic with my exercise routine and lack thereof. My goal was simple for this challenge. Get healthier and hope to lose some weight. My A1C has been higher than what my doctor wants to see and that was a big motivator as well. I have to quit making excuses and just get to it. Goal this second month is to hit the gym 2 to 3 times a week. Month three I want to be at 3 – 4 gym times a week but also staying disciplined on the weekend.
